IAGI LEARNING CENTRE

IAGI (Indonesian Geologists Association) was formed on 13 April 1960 in Bandung by Indonesian Geologist. The first chairman of IAGI is Soetaryo Sigit (1960-1961). The purpose of this assocoation is to establish the science of geology in Indonesia and provide a place to sharing about knowledge among the geologist in Indonesia.
 
IAGI form Biro Kursus IAGI or ILC (IAGI Learning Centre) for reviews and improving the professionalism and competence of the geologist in Indonesia.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The task of ILC courses is to review and increase the professionalism and competency member of IAGI. The programs that offered by Biro kursus IAGI or ILC like are workshops and field trips.

PROGRAMS

Since Year 2010 ILC has many classes of field trip and workshop with a competent instructors. Some instructors that frequently filling in the workshop of ILC are Ir. Benjamin Sapiie Ph.D, Dr Dardji Noeradi, Prof. Dr. Lambok Hutasoit, Awang Harun Satyana, Agus M. Ramdhan Ph.D, Prof. Doddy Abdasah, Imam B Sosrowidjojo, Alan Bayrak Pd, Daniel Johnston MBA, Dr. Andang Bachtiar, Dr. Budi Kantaatmadja And Prof. Trinh long.
Several International and local field trip that have done such as North Sumatra Basin, South Sumatra Basin, Fractured Basement Reservoir (Vietnam), South Sula- wesi field trip, Delta Mahakam Field Trip, South Yogya- karta Carbonate  field trip, Ombilin Basin field trip, and the  Malaka Straits Field Trip.
